Install Gnome Vanilla on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS Focal Fossa

The Vanilla Gnome version is a clean GNOME desktop installation. It lacks most of the software you would expect as default, however the desktop resource requirements are minimal.

1. To install GNOME desktop vanilla version execute the following command:

   $ sudo apt install gnome-session gdm3
   

2. All done. Reboot your system:

   $ sudo reboot
