最近在做Windows Server Update Service的部署实验，特地记录之。

 

Part 1. Installation

 

System Requirements for server
• Windows Server 2003 SP 1 and above
• IIS6
• BITS 2.0 and WinHTTP 5.1
• MS .Net Framework V2.0
• Microsoft Report Viewer 2005
• MMC 3.0 
• Firewall to allow the WSUS server port 80 for HTTP protocol and port 443 for HTTPS protocol.

Minimum hardware recommendations

 

1. Start installation by double-clicking the setup file WSUS3Setupx86SP1.exe
2. Click Next   

 

3. Select Full Server Installation including Administration Console

 

4. Accept license agreement, click Next

 

5. Store updates at the biggest local partition (<driveletter>:\WSUS). Click Next

 

6. Install Windows database on the same directory as step 5, click Next

 

7. Use Existing site and click Next

 

8. Click Next

 

9. Installation starts

 

10. Click Finish
