The Fujitsu MB506 is a high frequency, up to 2.4GHz, prescaler used with afrequency synthesizer to form a Phase Locked Loop (PLL). It will divide the input
frequency by the modulus of 128 or 256 and the output level is 1.6V peak to peak
on ECL level.Operation in the 1.6GHz range meets the specification for
applications in Direct Broadcasting Satellite Systems (DBS), CATV systems, and
UHF Transceivers.

自制2.4GHz数字频率计

该频率计的电原理路如下图所示,共有6部分组成。

[1].八位计数器 由4块74HC390、8块74LS247和8个LED共阳数码管组成。该计数器计数频率可达到50MHz(低气温时实测可达70MHz),为简化电路,8个LED共用一个限流电阻R16。另外考虑到业余制作频率计要求不高,本电路既未设置计数消隐,也未利用集成电路的无效零消隐功能,如需要此功能,可参考有关书籍。

[2].微波分频电路 由一块MB506及外围元件组成,MB506是一块有64、128、256三种分频比的微波分频电路,最高工作频率2.4GHz。改变Pin3、Pin6的接法可得到不同的分频比,本电路的接法为128分频。由于MB506自带放大、整形电路、故应用电路极为简单,Pin2为电源脚,由K1-2控制,当使用50MHz—2.4GHz档时接入+5V,不用时断开,以减少干扰,Pin4为输出端,由K1-1控制其是否接入电路。

[3].50MHz放大整形及闸门电路 由一块74HC00及外围元件组成,74HC00是2输入四与非门,其中两个与非门接成非门形式,组成放大整形电路,电阻R5和R6为偏置电阻,另一个与非门构成闸门控制信号。

[4].时基发生电路 由晶振电路、分频电路和恒温电路构成,74LS04的三个非门构成晶振和缓冲输出电路,该部分电路单独组成一体,用一金属壳屏蔽起来,装入简单的恒温槽中。恒温电路由LM324的一个运放和负温度系数热敏电阻R10、加热电阻R9等组成,8050作开关三极管使用,配合LM324用于控制加热电阻的通断。发光LED是加热指示灯。按照图中的元件参数恒温槽中的温度约为40℃左右,方法是,在保证绝缘和导热的情况下把这两个电阻帖在晶体的金属壳上。恒温槽的制作方法是,找一块硬质泡沫塑料切成适当大小的立方体,在其中部挖一个洞,将上述电路和元件一起装入洞中,在用泡沫塑料把洞口封闭,引出导线即可。但应给微调电容留一个小洞口待调整完毕后再堵上。10MHz晶振产生的信号4块74HC390分频取出1Hz信号作为50MHz档时基信号接入测量控制电路,同时,本分频器可输出从10MHz到0.1Hz的9个点的频率供测试用。由于MB506的分频比128,不是十进制,当采用1Hz时基时需乘上128才是实际的频率值,不太直观。为此,使用二进制分频电路CD4040,将74HC390输出的100Hz信号进行128分频,得到周期为1.28s的时基信号,用于50MHz—2.4GHz档作为时基,再用K1-4改变小数点的位置,就可以直接读数了,单位是MHz。

[5]. 测量控制电路 由一块CD4017构成,其CP端输入1s或1.28s时基信号,输出Q0用于计数器消零,Q1用于计数测频,Q2、Q3和Q4用于显示,Q5用于CD4017复位。

[6]. 电源电路 未稳压的10V输出用于恒温电路及数码管显示,5V稳压输出供数字电路使用。
