The scope is query data from sql db inside Geoserver. 

I haven‘t this db yet and I don‘t know which protocols and ports for the instance SQL working with. 


I download (sqljdbc_3.0.1301.202_enu.exe) from here

Follow this istructions (Installing the SQL Server extension) http://docs.geoserver.org/stable/en/user/data/sqlserver.html

I copy the file sqljdbc4.jar in WEB-INF/lib 

I download OpenGeo with Geoserver 

I go to administrator page of Geoserver. 
When I try to create a new data source I expet to find sql server icon but under vector data source there are only default icons (layer, shape, etc etc). 

I don‘t know what I can do....
