1. 综述
Linux下的环境变量分为两种,系统变量和用户变量。
1.1 系统级变量
以Ubuntu系统为例,我们使用 vim 打开文件 /etc/environment,内容如下:
PATH="/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games:/usr/local/games:/snap/bin"
可以看到该文件下保存了基本的PATH 环境变量。
另外一个保存系统级环境变量的文件是:/etc/profile,内容如下:

如上代码大致执行的功能是执行文件 /etc/bash.bashrc 及/etc/profile.d 下的所有文件,初始化相关Shell 脚本的配置。
以上两个文件在系统初始化时执行,修改后需要重启系统,重新加载配置,也可以使用如下命令重新执行下配置文件代码

1.2 用户级
在用户目录下有两个文件 .bashrc .profile,如下图:
在这两个文件中保存了用户相关的环境变量配置。

Set and unset shell options.
Change the setting of each shell option OPTNAME. Without any option
arguments, list each supplied OPTNAME, or all shell options if no

Options:
-o restrict OPTNAMEs to those defined for use with `set -o'
-p print each shell option with an indication of its status
-q suppress output
-s enable (set) each OPTNAME
-u disable (unset) each OPTNAME
Exit Status:
Returns success if OPTNAME is enabled; fails if an invalid option is
given or OPTNAME is disabled.

- set unset 命令
这是一对内建的Unix Shell 命令,用于设置或取消Shell 变量。
- alias
该命令用于设置指令的别名。
- test
Shell中的 test 命令用于检查某个条件是否成立,它可以进行数值、字符和文件三个方面的测试。
总结一下 .profile 文件主要完成对于历史记录,配色及部分指令别名的设置。
